Those of you disappointed that pizza has not been available at Isola recently may rejoice. As of last night, Naples' culinary gift to the world is back. According to a spokesman from Pino Piano's restaurant group, Omnilink, the IFC eatery had to stop serving pizzas due to an oven malfunction. 'There had been a slight problem with the oven since July so we haven't had pizzas there for two months. It took that long to get a new one imported from overseas and get it approved and replace the thing. The air system wasn't good.' Now, Isola's thin crust pizzas are back with a vengeance. The restaurant's chef Gianni Caprioli, pictured, is adding a white pizza to the seasonal menu, made with white truffles and mushroom. Mamma mia!
