For those who are wary of meats from over the border and who prefer frozen, not fresh, the Hing Lung Food Place, in Sheung Wan, has started a meat delivery service called (appropriately) www.
meat.com.hk. The company delivers frozen lamb, beef, chicken and pork, as well as seafood and processed food. Most of the meat comes from Brazil, New Zealand and Canada, and a surprisingly wide range of cuts are available. Delivery is free to Hong Kong Island and Kowloon for orders of at least HK$500 (HK$50 is charged for orders under HK$500); for the New Territories (except Tung Chung), the minimum for free delivery is HK$800.
