WATARY International, manufacturer of hand-held computer games, has recorded a decrease in both profits and turnover for the six months ended September 30. Profit was $4.6 million on turnover of $119.3 million. Earnings per share were 1.16 cents. No dividend was declared. The company attributed the decline to keen competition, the sluggish US market and weaker sales in Europe. Last year's figures were not available since the company was only listed in November, 1992.
