TWO men have been arrested over the kidnap of an elderly woman whose family was unable to repay a loan she obtained in Macau after having lost heavily in the casinos. The 57-year-old victim went to Macau on Monday where she borrowed, and lost, $20,000 from loansharks. Two loansharks escorted the woman back to the territory on Tuesday night and took her to her Tai Wo Hau estate home where they demanded her family repay $42,000, including interest. The family told them to return the next day to collect the money. The men took the victim away and when they returned yesterday they were arrested. Police were last night questioning the pair, aged 20 and 22.
