Leung: I stopped asking my parents for pocket money after Form Five. I work part-time as a piano teacher and private tutor, making about HK$2,000 a month.

YP: How do you spend your money?

L: I only spend on what's necessary, such as transportation or food. As for luxuries, such as clothes, I will try my best to control myself. My principle is that I must not spend all the money I earn. A portion of it must be saved or given to charity.

I help bring up two children in Cambodia through the charity, Happy Tree. As a member of the global village, I have the responsibility to help those who are in need. Saving money is not just for your benefit. For example, my mother saves money to support my extra-curricular activities, such as learning the piano.
