Best foot forward

Shoe-maker John Lobb celebrated the opening of its first boutique in Hong Kong with a small exclusive event at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel last month.

To mark the occasion, chief executive Bruno Guillon and quality development director Andres Hernandez flew in from Paris and London.

Not surprisingly, the classy men's footwear label attracted gentlemen eager to slip into their own pair. Among the minglers were Hermes' managing director Bertrand Michaud, hotel manager Peter French, Christopher Clarke, David Yeh Jnr, Gerard Millet and Wendy Gan.
