WHAT GETS THE CHAPS TINGLING
What does a man's daily skin-care routine entail? Two thirtysomething Hong Kong lawyers reveal their regimens:
Hugh Griffin: 'I use a moisturising lotion from L'Oreal or Clinique on my face, most days after shaving. I don't use body moisturiser.
'I've been influenced by my girlfriend and the increased marketing of male skin-care products. I think it's important to protect the skin from sunburn, and that moisturising is a good thing for the face.'
Roger White: 'I believe it's important to take care of your skin to stop ageing, and to look good. The most important products are a good moisturiser and sun protection. I usually suffer from redness after shaving, so I need a shaving balm, too.
'I use a facial wash by Ren, a toner by Kiehl's, and a moisturiser and shaving products by Jack Black. But I change brands quite regularly - my wife tells me your skin gets used to products after three to six months.
'I get most of my skincare information from advertisements and magazines. I prefer products that don't have additives or chemicals and which aren't tested on animals.'
