Ford for thought

Along with his plans to open a namesake store  on Manhattan's Madison Avenue  next spring, designer Tom  Ford recently revealed plans to expand his accessories line to include luggage and high-end jewellery.

Charitable designs

Roland Mouret  has launched a collection of 10 dresses designed in collaboration with the Gap  in Britain. Profits from the collection's three red dresses will go  to Bono's Project Red   charity, which helps fights Aids in Africa.

Shoe thing

Scarlett Johansson  has unveiled her collection for Reebok called Scarlett 'Hearts' Rbk.   The key pieces from the 1980s-inspired collection include track jackets, racer tanks, sweatshirts and leggings  in colours such as bright pink and aqua. The collection will reach stores early next year.

Mandarin suite

Ferragamo has re-opened its  main boutique  in the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong hotel, selling  men's and women's ready-to-wear,  shoe collections, and accessories. Shop G1-2, Mandarin Oriental, Connaught Road, Central, tel: 2523 0899.
