Wong Wing-suen, 88, fell on Queen's Road West at about 11am. 'He lost balance when he saw vehicles approaching and dashed backward to avoid being hit,' a police spokeswoman said. The man was taken to Queen Mary Hospital, where doctors declared him dead at 11.49am. Surgeon fails in lawsuit against anaesthetist A surgeon who suffered nerve damage to his left hand after a prostate operation has failed to win HK$1.7 million compensation from the anaesthetist he accused of causing the injury.
