This weekend, all eyes are on the international cricket stars who are in town to play at the Cathay Pacific/Standard Chartered Hong Kong International Cricket Sixes.
But if you tear your eyes away from the men in white and look at the ball girls, you may spot Hong Kong's future top player.
Aged 12, Chan Sau-ha became the youngest cricketer to represent Hong Kong at an international level.
Last year, Sau-ha was one of six students included in the new Hong Kong women's cricket team. She made her debut in September in a match against the Pakistan national team in a qualifying series for the Women's Cricket World Cup 2009.
The bubbly Form One student, who also plays for the Hong Kong Cricket Club, will be playing at the Hong Kong Invitational Cricket Festival next weekend against three other clubs in the women's division - Lamma Cricket Club, Shanghai Pearls and Hong Kong Dragons. She is one of a new breed of Chinese girls to take to the traditionally male-dominated sport. She said she was encouraged to play at her primary school, the Little Flower's Catholic Primary School in Sha Tin, which has a strong cricket background.
Sau-ha, a bowler, has been playing cricket for the past two years. She was discovered by a Hong Kong Cricket Association coach when she won 'best player' at an inter-primary school cricket league.
