Edith Ngan Chan

Ms Chan will be responsible for the China, Hong Kong and Taiwan markets concentrating on pensions, mutual funds and related businesses. She has more than 16 years of experience in the finance industry with a strong background in mutual funds, institutional asset management and Hong Kong pension schemes, all of which will be beneficial to the firm's growth strategy in the region. Ms Chan is a graduate of Stanford University.

Alan Leung

Mr Leung will focus on recruiting junior accounting professionals for investment, commercial and retail banking, fund management, insurance and other financial service providers. He is graduate of the University of Manchester with a degree in economics, and has  more than  four years of  experience in the banking industry. Mr Leung will help drive business for Ambition.

Peter Yeo

Mr Yeo specialises in providing recruitment services for manufacturing-based  multinational corporations spread across diversified industries, including garments, electronics and packaging. He has 25 years of  experience working with top multinational corporations,  covering B2B industrial business units. He has a solid understanding of the business and an extensive network within the candidate talent pool.

James Gleeson

Regional head  of sales trading

Mr Gleeson will be based at Nomura's Asia headquarters in Hong Kong.  In his new role, he will be responsible for managing the sales trading team and enhancing relationships with clients in the region. Before joining Nomura, he spent more than 10 years at Credit Suisse, four as its Asian sales trader director in Hong Kong responsible for management of the sales trading and execution team.

David Fried

HSBC Insurance (Asia-Pacific) Holdings

Mr Fried takes over responsibilities for Hong Kong and the region from Choy Chung-foo, the former chief executive of HSBC Insurance (Asia-Pacific) Holdings, as well as the responsibilities for the broking and retirement businesses across the region. Mr Choy will manage HSBC's strategy in the mainland. Mr Fried, who joined HSBC in 1984, was previously based in Britain.

Michael Forte

Mr Forte joins the newly formed commerce and industry business unit. After gaining extensive operational and business development experience in the Hong Kong construction and fit-out industries, he transferred his skills to a specialist search and selection firm, where he focused on the recruitment of project managers, architects, interior designers and engineers. He has expanded his portfolio to include all construction and engineering roles.

Steve Chiu

Head of retail business, Greater China

Mr Chiu will be responsible for the offshore funds business. He is a 17-year veteran in the financial services industry with extensive solid experience in wealth management products. He joined HSBC Investments in 1991 as unit trust consultant and later developed his career into building sales channels for retail funds through the HSBC branch network across Asia.
