The radio's convenor, Tsang Kin-shing, and Citizens' Radio representative Lo Chau faced a charge of establishing a means of telecommunications without a licence.

Three others - radio member Poon Tat-keung, a tenant of the radio's Wan Chai premises, Chan Miu-tak, and Yang Xuang - were accused of using a transmitting system without a licence on August 29.

No pleas were entered from the five when they appeared in Eastern Court.

The prosecutor told Deputy Special Magistrate Yu Cheuk-man that more people might be prosecuted and the defendants might face extra charges as the investigations continued.
