TWELVE women from a Sai Kung old people's home were taken to hospital after developing stomach upsets yesterday. Kwok Cheung-sing, in charge of the Tung Sin Tan Home for the Aged, denied they were suffering from food poisoning.
Nine of the women - aged between 73 and 93 - were treated and discharged from United Christian Hospital. One of the women was detained for observation, one was admitted and the other was transferred to Kwong Wah Hospital.
