Reflections on a battle for survival

Do you have a fish tank at home? I got one in April and it contained 20 fish of four types.

At first, everything was fine and I watched the colourful fish swim back and forth.

But before long some of them were dead - maybe there were harmful bacteria in the water.

When a fish died, the others ate it. I was shocked.

I observed that even when a fish is dying, it never gives up hope.

It stays at the bottom of the aquarium because it doesn't have the energy to come to the surface. But it keeps moving its tail, fighting to the last second.
