Just as everyone was starting to forget entertainment and fashion mogul Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs used to make music, he comes up with Press Play, his first album since 2001's The Saga Continues.

The singer has changed names almost as often as he has his occupation. Known at times as Puff Daddy, then P. Diddy, as well as Puff and Puffy, he runs a record label, clothing lines Sean John and Sean by Sean Combs, a movie production company and two restaurants.

Press Play took a year to make and features numerous top names, including Timbaland, Jamie Foxx, Outkast's Big Boi, Pharrell, Brandy and Mary J. Blige.

But the album does not impress. Too many songs stick to the bored and annoying themes of women, bad boys and bling.

But some songs aren't quite so tired, and a few are even enjoyable. Christina Aguilera and The Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger add spice to the album with their powerful vocals in Tell Me and Come To Me.

Another plus is the diverse range of sounds Combs experiments with - from old school hip hop to R&B, and soul to pop and funk.
