Democratic Party vice-chairman Albert Ho Chun-yan yesterday unveiled a team to contest the party's leadership and vowed he would unify its warring factions if elected.
But a heated contest is expected, and that could widen the splits.
Mr Ho, who heads a list of five, is seeking to succeed outgoing chairman Lee Wing-tat.

He said his team would build party unity and strengthen communication with members.
'Trust and sincerity are the most important values right now, and I will seek to bring dialogue and take into account different views if we are elected,' he said.
