Wait till you taste the Peanut Malt Flip at M Bar, the latest hot spot at the newly renovated Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong. Assistant bar manager Andy Wong calls it 'a marriage of new flavours in an old style' - peanut butter shaken with scotch, egg yolk, cream and sugar. We call it this year's biggest challenge to Weight Watchers, but hey, it's Christmas!

Peanut Malt Flip

50ml single malt whisky

50ml cream

One egg yolk

15ml sugar syrup

One teaspoon of peanut butter (smooth)

Grated nutmeg to garnish

Shake all the ingredients well with ice then strain into a chilled white wine glass. Shave fresh nutmeg on top.
