St. Teresa Secondary School
After the grand parade of the participants, the playing of the national anthem and the solemn hoist of the school flag, our principal, Ms Teresa Wong, fired the starter's gun which marked the opening of the 29th annual athlete meet of St Teresa Secondary School at Wan Chai Sports Ground.
The invitation relays showed the sporting talents of the elite running teams from six secondary schools and St Patrick's Catholic Primary School.
Dr Louie Hung Tak, an associate professor from the department of physical education at Hong Kong Baptist University, was our guest of honour at the prize-giving ceremony.
In his inspiring speech, he emphasised the importance of health and exercise, and reminded students not to believe blindly in slimming advertisements as they are not the answer.
