Hong Kong Memory Study Association chairwoman Miki Lee Yuk-kuen attempts to make it into the record books yesterday by memorising 300 objects.

Ms Lee spent 70 minutes memorising the positions of 300 objects, such as a HK$50 note, a dictionary and pens, which were arranged on a grid. Witnesses then rearranged the objects, which she reassembled in their original places in 40 minutes.

She believes she has beaten the achievement of a Guinness World Record holder - 200 objects - set last year in India. She plans to have yesterday's result authenticated by Guinness officials.
