I WRITE to complain about Citibank who kept me waiting for almost four months for a mere welcome gift, after I applied for its Visa Card in August. Yvette Law's letter (South China Morning Post, December 24) prompted me to write instead of just calling, asusual, because I decided not to let it go unnoticed anymore.

Whenever I have called, staff they have kept telling me that they were processing my case. Once, the blame was put on the Marketing Department, on the grounds that it was sluggish in delivering the gifts. I don't care about scapegoats. I think Citibank must bear full responsibility. I am not trying to beg for this gift, but I am entitled to it. Citibank should reply to my letter.
