I'VE been watching out for Namjong Again (Nap) all season and wondering on his first two starts why he didn't run better as he appeared to be working well.
He then ran much more like his old self last time out and since then his work has been a revelation, especially when fitted with blinkers which he wears for the first time this afternoon.
He went really well in a recent trial when showing blistering speed until he was eased down over the final 200 metres and he could well lead all the way in this afternoon's seventh event at Sha Tin.
Oh, and there's one other thing which should not be overlooked. That fellow Tony Cruz steps aboard and that is another very firm pointer that Namjong Again is poised to win for trainer Peter Ng Bik-kuen who is really establishing himself as one of the very best local handlers.
My best quinella comes in the third where I'm very keen on the combination of topweight Lucky Express with the two bottomweights, Clear Spray and Go Go.
