The Castelo Restaurant Group, which operates Jaspas, Pepperonis and Cru, recently opened Wagyu in what were previously the premises of Wyndham Thai. As you might expect, the meaty namesake plays a prominent role on the menu: there are Wagyu beef koftas (HK$110), Wagyu mini pies (HK$110), Wagyu burgers (HK$120), salt-crusted Wagyu beef strips (HK$110) and Wagyu fillets, sirloins and rump steaks (far left; from 240 grams to 360 grams). The rich, well-marbled beef is imported from Australia. Non-beef eaters have plenty to choose from, too, with dishes such as Pacific prawn cocktail (HK$110), Nicoise salad (HK$95), pizzas (HK$120) and pastas (HK$120-HK$150).
