Hacken Lee had a good start to the year, after scooping the first award of the night at the RTHK countdown event at Times Square on New Year's Eve. 'It's a good omen,' he said. The past year has treated the 39-year-old Canto-pop singer well. His albums sold briskly and in November he tied the knot with former Miss Hong Kong Emily Lo Suk-yee. His winning streak looks set to continue. Lee (right) is shooting a comedy directed by Wong Jing, due for release at Lunar New Year. He may need to dye his blond spiky hair jet black for the role, starring opposite TVB actress Charmaine Sheh Si-man. 'My image as a TV show host and singer is very strong, so I'd like to diversify my career by making more movies,' he said. Asked if he wanted children this year, he paused then grinned. 'I need to to think about it. We need a plan.'
