Updated at 2.49pm: Customs officers have discovered copyright-infringing toys during the Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair 2007, and arrested three mainlanders, a spokesman said on Tuesday. Officers found the infringing toy sets between 6pm and 7pm on the first day of the fair on Monday. They arrested three mainland men, aged 27 to 48, the spokesman said. The event is being held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre until Thursday. Organisers said it was the largest toy exhibition in Asia, with more than 1,900 exhibitors taking part this year. The spokesman added that customs were working to take action against intellectual property rights infringement activities within 24 hours of receiving reports from exhibitors.
