Thought the 'bling thing'was a passing fad? Not if the new hip-hop must-have, the Rapstor watch, is anything to go by. With up to 25 carats of coloured - or 'dirty' - diamonds, it seems the shine hasn't worn off the trend for all things ostentatious. The Rapstor brand has taken hip-hop by storm since it was founded in 2004 by New York-based artist Andy Black and a Swiss group of investors. Each watch is handmade in Switzerland and has a diamond-encrusted collage on its face. There are only 100 of each style available worldwide. Highlights include the Brown Sugar (right; HK$32,760), with yellow and grey diamonds, and the Gothic (far right; HK$120,000), with its luxurious snakeskin strap. Custom orders are also available, from Sonjia, 2 Sun Street, Wan Chai, tel: 2529 6223.
