Last week, Apple finally unveiled its iPhone, which combines an iPod, a mobile phone and an Internet device.

Like previous Apple products, the iPhone is a sleek number, featuring a huge, 3.5-inch touch-sensitive display covering most of the front face of the device.

From the initial product details, it should feel very much like the latest video iPod in size, width and thickness.

So, is it an iPod? Or is it a phone? It's a little of both, and probably better than owning the two individually.

As a portable media player, the iPhone comes with 4GB or 8GB of memory with support for video, music and photos.

As a handset, the iPhone supports quad-band GSM and EDGE connectivity, as well as Wi-Fi.

A 2 megapixel digital camera is thrown into the package.
