Get out and about and promote good health

The annuaL MTR Hong Kong Race Walking competition will be held on April 15 at Chater Garden in Central.

Over the years, the race - which was launched in 2005 - has attracted more than 2,000 participants.

The fund-raising activity is in support of the Hospital Authority's 'Better Health for a Better Hong Kong' programme.

The event has so far raised more than HK$2 million.

Local athletes will get the opportunity to compete alongside top race walkers from China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines in the men's and women's elite categories.

There will also be individual and team categories, as well as a School Relay Championship and a Corporate Team Challenge.
