A total of 697 non-resident mainlanders have booked maternity packages in the past few days.
Public hospitals fully booked
Of the eight public hospitals providing obstetric services, the quota for mainland mothers at Tuen Mun and Prince of Wales hospitals is full until May 31; Queen Elizabeth Hospital until March 31; United Christian Hospital until February 28
Places available
Kwong Wah, Princess Margaret, Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern and Queen Mary hospitals have beds available
Private hospitals
Nine private hospitals offer maternity services. By yesterday, the following were fully booked:
Baptist Hospital, until April 30; St Paul's Hospital, until February 28; Union Hospital, until April 30; Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hospital, until April 30; Adventist and Tsuen Wan Adventist hospitals, until April 30
Canossa, Matilda International and St Teresa's refused to provide figures
