Simply packaged, old-fashioned soul

Khalil Fong Dai-tung's music blows like a breath of fresh air into the stale Canto-pop music scene. His new album This Love, a follow-up to his acclaimed debut Soul Boy, proves the singer-songwriter is one of the most promising musicians in town.

The Hawaii-born all-rounder composed, arranged, produced and played most of the instruments on the album.

It's an array of mid-tempo and soothing songs in Putonghua about the different faces of love - from romance to family love - with soul and jazz elements. Spring Breeze Blows, as its title suggests, is a soothing acoustic ballad, like a gentle breeze.
