There's nothing dull about Brian Jamieson. He worked for Warner Bros for 30 years, worked with Stanley Kubrick for 20 years, his latest venture in the United States involves Clint Eastwood and he's in Hong Kong to plan a documentary on the life of Nancy Kwan (left), who starred in The World of Suzie Wong.
Jamieson, 64, who lives in Los Angeles, and Kwan will return next month and head on to Cambodia, where Kwan's son died in his mid-30s from Aids.
'It's called Ka Shen's Journey, The World of Nancy Kwan,' says Jamieson. 'It takes a look at her life, not necessarily her film career. We'll have a charity premiere of the film early in the new year.'
He says Kwan opened Hollywood's doors to many Asian actors. 'To think they used to have Caucasians dressed up as Asians. Kinda nuts when you think about it.'
I suppose we could have run a photo of Jamieson, but Kwan is prettier.
