One of the largest exhibitions in Asia on opportunities for studying in Britain is being held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Hall 5B) in Wan Chai, on February 10 and 11 from 1-6pm. Subjects range from conventional courses, such as literature, medicine, business and engineering, to niche areas such as computer and mobile games technology, sports wear design, and automotive and motor sport engineering. There is also information about work opportunities in Britain, enabling students to assess their employability after graduation. The exhibition will provide face-to-face advice from consultants from 69 higher and further education institutions and 18 schools. There will be seminars in Cantonese on a range of topics including summer programmes, studying at boarding schools, parents' sharing experiences and undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Admission is free with 350 places available on a first come, first served basis for each seminar. There will also be a pre-exhibition talk at the British Council on February 9 by Professor Braithwaite of the University of Nottingham on opportunities to study medicine and veterinary medicine in Britain.
