Jockey Eric Saint-Martin takes cover after falling from his mount, the Tony Cruz-trained Honest Treasure, at Sha Tin yesterday.

The fall occurred just seconds after he passed the post, a winner in race five. The Frenchman, who suffered a sprained knee ligament and a broken finger, was treated at Prince of Wales Hospital and returned to the track to watch the rest of the meeting. Saint-Martin, who won an earlier race on David Hall's Jade Dancer, crashed to the track with all the field behind him and his helmet appeared to take a hoof, but he escaped serious injury.
