Thailand's Chawalit Plaphol claimed the clubhouse lead with a blemish-free, opening-round, six-under-par 65 at the Enjoy Jakarta Astro Indonesia Open yesterday. Chawalit, 32, led the way with six birdies and was followed by Finland's Mikko Ilonen, who was a stroke adrift at the Damai Indah Golf and Country Club.
