United Colors of Benetton's new fragrance collection includes 125ml/75ml and 40ml eau de toilette spray (HK$348/HK$268/HK$188) for women and men. There's also a unisex version. Benetton Woman has blends of neroli and mandarin, while the men's has hints of bergamot and blackcurrant bud. Darphin is focusing on a fruity theme with its new Arovita C line. It combines cosmetic technology with plant essences to help skin stay youthful. Apply the Arovita Firming Serum (HK$800/30ml) in the morning for a natural glow, then use the Tangerine Aromatic Care (HK$520/15ml) at night to protect the skin against factors that cause premature ageing. Chanel's Hydramax+ Comfort Cream (HK$435/200ml, below left) mixes ingredients from two plants that survive in extreme conditions and is said to be effective at correcting water deficiency inside and outside the cells. It contains butterfly lavender extract to keep moisture inside cells and samphire extract to construct a waterproof wall between cells - something the maker says will help hold water between the skin cells. Available from all Chanel counters.
L'annine's Hand and Body cream (HK$150/50ml) contains allantoin, silicone and glycerine to help heal damaged, ageing and dry skin, giving hands a smoother and younger look. The natural mango scent is one to look out for. Available at Harvey Nichols, Beyond Beauty, Central.
