If you're looking for something that is one of a kind, visit designer Peter Baer's integrated atelier/showroom, in Central. The Swiss designer, who has been creating jewellery since 1988, specialises in wearable art pieces made from a unique combination of materials, such as keshi pearls (top; diamond-encrusted ring in 18-carat white and black gold, HK$68,000) and custom-carved Burmese jade (above; fan-shaped diamond and jade earrings; HK$50,800), which has a unique texture and colour. Another of Baer's clever collections features bejewelled clasp pendants that can be worn on necklaces or earrings.
