The people at Logitech have been coming up with some attractive gear lately and they've cranked it up again with the release of the Logitech Z-10 Interactive Speaker System. One of the two sleek black speakers in the set features the usual range of touch-sensitive controls, but you must use iTunes, Windows Media Player or MusicMatch Jukebox to enjoy full functionality. One speaker has a two-line LCD display that tells you, if you're too lazy to look at your computer monitor, what song you're listening to. There are also four buttons that can be preset to your favourite internet radio stations, as well as a jack for headphones and an auxiliary input for your MP3 player. The speakers connect to your computer by USB, which means they'll work nicely with laptops as well as desktops. The speakers each contain a one-inch dome tweeter and a three-inch woofer and the bi-amped set is rated at 60 watts total peak music power, which means they should be more than loud enough for the average Hong Kong bedroom. Expect to pay less than HK$800 for the set.
