Getsumento Heiki Mina (DVD)
Prepare for some amusing antics as loony, sports-crazed alien bunnies wreak havoc on the world of professional sports in the newest anime, Getsumento Heiki Mina.
Originally a fictional anime in the popular live action television mini-series Densha Otoko, it has now actually been developed.
The story, however, is different from that in Densha Otoko and will run for far fewer episodes than it was said to have run for in Densha Otoko.
The animation studio GONZO is producing this short series, which premiered on Fuji TV on January 13. Some of their past works include Afro Samurai, Blue Submarine No.6, Full Metal Panic!, Hellsing and Samurai 7.
In this anime, mankind has made contact with alien races and discovered that Earth is the only civilisation that has sports. The various sports quickly become popular with the aliens.
