Three cans of beer, chrysanthemums and an offering of three apples lie on the grave of constable Leung Shing-yan in Gallant Garden yesterday. Leung was shot dead on this day six years ago when he was called to attend a noise complaint at Shek Wai Kok Estate. A security guard at the cemetery, which is reserved for civil servants killed on duty, said the offerings were placed at his grave by colleagues over the weekend. The inquest heard evidence on Leung's shooting last week.
