Delia English Primary School

My school's Parents' Day took place in February. We also organised an international food fair to complement the event.

The money collected at the fair went to buy gifts for the elderly. There was food from around the world - Indian, Australian, Indonesian, Filipino, Canadian and Chinese. Each class made one country's food. Our class made Filipino food. Parents prepared dishes using teacher's recipes.

There were also games in our gymnasium. I was the helper for the game called Travel Around the World in an Afternoon. We helped complete puzzles, threw balls at country flags and played board games.

There was also a variety show and magic show, as well as performances like tea pouring and dancing.
