Singer Anthony Wong Yiu-ming and mainland actress Zhou Xun really fell for each other filming the music video for director Susie Au Suet-yee's first feature, MingMing.
Wong and Zhou duet on the theme tune for the film, portraying two special agents in a style reminiscent of James Bond movies.
'Zhou and I had to keep still and hold on to each end of a metal chain to keep our balance on a rotating stage,' said Wong. 'We kept falling off the stage and it was quite dangerous. We had to rely on each other and trust one another.'
Wong (right) said Zhou was quite nervous when she recorded her part, so he gave her some alcohol to help her relax. 'We all got a bit drunk and it was totally mad at the studio,' Wong said after a preview of the video at Time Square's big screen on Wednesday.
'There were a few crazy takes that we didn't use, but it was so much fun and we got to know each other very well afterwards.'
Wong said the song was composed a while ago and 'had been sitting in my drawer for a few years'.
