Citizen rescue top-flight status

Citizen secured a crucial victory to keep their place in the First Division next season after pulling off an upset 2-1 win over defending champions Happy Valley at Mong Kok Stadium yesterday. The result consigned Football Club to relegation. With two matches left, Club will join Hong Kong 08, who lost 5-0 to Xiangxue Sun Hei in the other match of yesterday's doubleheader, in the Second Division next season.
