If you've ever wanted to experience the glamorous life of a Bollywood celebrity, this could be your chance. The JW Marriott Mumbai has introduced the Celebrity Makeover Package, which includes a night in the hotel's presidential suite with full butler service, round-trip limousine airport transfers during which champagne is served and six hours of pampering at the Quan Spa (left), incorporating luxurious baths, body polishes, massages and foot reflexology. All treatments are chosen after consultation with spa therapists.
A makeover with a Bollywood stylist and fashion designer follows personal consultation with the 'makeover team'. Also included are a half-day photo session and optional interview with a local television station and complimentary passes to the hotel's Enigma nightclub, the hottest spot in town, with guaranteed access to the VIP lounge. Somewhere in the programme the city's newest celebrity is asked to find time for a romantic, eight-course candlelit dinner, served poolside if preferred.

Shanghai is nothing if not non-stop, but a new dining service seems guaranteed to make the city move that little bit faster. The Four Seasons Hotel is offering to take room-service orders even before guests arrive at the Puxi property, allowing precious seconds to be saved. Guests may order from an extensive menu through hotel representatives at Pudong airport; by the time they arrive in the city centre by chauffeur-driven limousine, their meal is waiting. The 'prompt, hassle-free' service promised by the Four Seasons under the Right on Time! promotional tagline covers breakfast, all-day dining and late-night orders from the property's Shintaro Japanese restaurant, its Steak House and the Si Ji Xuan Chinese restaurant (below).
