No fakes, says watch shop

The shop at the centre of scams over suspect watches says its merchandise is genuine and it is authorised to sell brand-name watches accused of being fakes. Majestic Watch & Jewellery Company in To Kwa Wan posted a notice yesterday directing customers to a hotline but remained closed. Customs officers investigating the case have inspected 42 shops this month but only Majestic has yielded merchandise that might be fake. Customs are waiting for experts from Swiss manufacturer Seculus to find if the seized timepieces are genuine.
