Four Premier Division clubs who refuse to play Singh Sabha Sports Club (SSSC) will stage an alternative 'Holland Cup' final this weekend.

League champions Hong Kong Football Club, Shaheen, Valley and Kowloon Cricket Club will figure in a four-team round-robin tournament at the Hong Kong Football Club on Saturday with the top two teams meeting in the final on Sunday - the same day when SSSC meet Pakistan Association in the boycott-ridden Holland Cup final at King's Park.

'We have informed the Hong Kong Hockey Association about the event,' said Hong Kong Football Club captain Pietro Attala. 'I guess it is kind of an alternative Holland Cup.'

'We have been put in a difficult situation with these four leading clubs refusing to play against SSSC,' said HKHA president Sarinder Dillon. 'We will have to sit down and review the whole thing.'

Three of the four top clubs pulled out of the Holland Cup - KCC had been knocked out in the opening round - citing the failure of the association to ban SSSC from the knockout tournament. They all refuse to play against SSSC, who have a bad record of violent play.

Last week, SSSC's Satpal Singh was banned for a record 10 years for hitting Football Club's Douglas Corbel on the back of his head with his stick during a league game in March.
