I don't like horses because they're not cute. Hong Kong students don't get many chances to see or touch horses.  I would be very excited if  horses were brought to my school. I don't know much about horse riding, but I'm quite interested in equestrian events. They're different from horse racing and should not be linked together.

When I think about horses,  the British royal family immediately comes to mind. Horses are beautiful and elegant.  Members of the royal family are good horse riders.  I love horses, so I support Hong Kong in hosting the 2008 Olympic equestrian events. If I had the chance, I would get involved. Some people think the sport will encourage people to gamble, but I don't think so. My dad loves horse racing, but he's not addicted to it. He thinks horse racing is  great fun.

The first thing that comes to mind is horse racing, which  is really boring. It is a waste of money. My family and I don't gamble at all.  But I do support Hong Kong in hosting the 2008 Olympic equestrian events.  Equestrian events are completely different from horse racing. The sport involves techniques and skills. I hope I would be able to ride a horse some day.

I love horses because I'm a big fan of the merry-go-round. Horses run so fast and they're cool. I support Hong Kong's decision to host the Olympic equestrian events. Equestrian events are a competitive sport with a long history. It involves co-ordination between riders and horses and is the only Olympic sport in which humans work together with animals.  I tried horse riding in Malaysia and it was fun. Hong Kong people are unfamiliar with equestrian events. I think the government should do more to promote the sport.

I really like horses because they're my zodiac. My dad loves horses too. When I was a child, he took me to see horses. They were so cute. Equestrian events are great. It is one of the few sports in which men and women compete on  equal terms.  I don't think equestrian events would encourage horse betting. Liking horses doesn't mean you'll gamble on them.
