One trend to emerge in recent years has been the use of ceramics in watches. The trend has caught on with brands at all levels of the market, and many have made it a visible part of their products.

But in an industry where competition is fiercer than ever, innovation is essential to keep the consumer interested. This year, Folli Follie introduces a new material, corian, to its watch collection. Corian is composed of acrylic polymer and alumina trihydrate that is more commonly used to make kitchen counter worktops.
