For those devoted to luxury cosmetics, here's a chance to be beautiful inside and out. Chantecaille Beaute, founded in 1997 by Sylvie Chantecaille, specialises in fragrance-free cosmetics

with a high concentration of natural antioxidants. The New York-based company has recently released a limited-edition pressed powder compact designed by American jeweller Jay Strongwater.

The compact, which retails at HK$3,950, includes a flat, natural-hair brush and comes in an elegant turquoise and coral-coloured cloth box with a refill. The vitamin C-infused powder treats skin with hydrating properties and glides on effortlessly for a sun-kissed, luminous look.

Five per cent of Chantecaille's 2007 Coral Collection sales will benefit Reefs of Hope, a project, by the US-based Pew Institute for Ocean Science, that seeks to mitigate the effects of pollution, over-fishing and global warming on the world's coral reefs.

There are only 600 pieces available worldwide and 20 of those are for sale exclusively at Chantecaille counters in Lane Crawford stores in Hong Kong.

Lane Crawford is at IFC Mall, Central, tel: 2118 7666; Times Square, Causeway Bay, tel: 2869 5816; Pacific Place, Admiralty, tel: 2118 3668; and Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, tel: 3586 1521.
