JOINT champion trainer John Moore pulled one back on leader Ivan Allan with a winning double yesterday. He produced debutant Super Bomb to win the second race on the programme and some sizeable wagers were landed as the New Zealand sprinter gained the upper hand in the concluding stages of the 1,000-metre dash to score readily. Schnitzer (7-1) rarely wins a race and finished on for second while erratic Gints to Win (6-1) faded for fourth having drifted out on to Schnitzer in the closing stages. Real Fortune (35-1) finished third. Super Bomb had shown up in an early Sha Tin trial but was set for this local riders race by Moore who had stable apprentice Victor C. F. Chan up. The horse was backed in from 7-2 to start at 5-2. Moore completed the double with the Gerald Mosse-ridden Asian Glory.
