Condoms
1-MIN READ1-MIN
THE current issue of Asiaweek carries an article about the regional use of condoms, with mention being made about the disappointing results when the Hong Kong Consumer Council recently tested 34 local brands.
But what intrigued us was the bureaucratic test that condoms must meet in Japan. There apparently, in order to get the approval of the bureaucrats, condoms must be able to ''stretch to six times their normal size and stay functional for 72 hours''.
Goodness. Japanese civil servants must be libidinous supermen.
