A University of Hong Kong law student was yesterday charged by the Independent Commission Against Corruption with forging exam-result slips. Cheng Sing-ho, 23, will appear in Eastern Court on Tuesday to face two charges of forgery and two charges of using a false instrument. An ICAC spokesman said the student allegedly produced the slips between 2004 and last year with the intention of duping staff of the law faculty. He also allegedly forged a letter from a property management company saying he had been unable to attend an exam because he was trapped in a faulty lift. Cheng is on bail.
